Company Services – Burns & Co advertises your property in targeted publications and interviews prospective tenants for you. Prospects are shown your property only when accompanied by a licensed real estate agent. Burns & Co assumes the responsibility for performing credit checks and follow-up with references and past landlords to assure you of qualified occupants.

Rent Collection – Assisting you to establish the rental rate and finding a qualified tenant is only the beginning. Burns & Co demands timely payments from its tenants and promptly takes action on delinquent accounts. If necessary, eviction proceedings are initiated for you by Burns & Co.

Maintenance Service

Burns & Co Property Management Department maintains a roster of service and maintenance firms available to respond quickly to emergencies and make necessary repairs to protect your property.

In addition, keeping your property in tip-top shape is an on-going responsibility. Periodic inspections of your property are made checking for maintenance issues a tenant may overlook. You will be contacted for approval prior to repairs being made.

Computerized Record Keeping – Burns & Co’s Management Department prides itself on excellent communication with rental owners. Besides handling the day-to-day responsibilities, you also need to know the income flow of our property. You are provided a monthly, computerized summary of cash flow activities indicating your income and expenses. For your tax record, you receive a year-end cumulative summary from Burns & Co.
